Heather Kmetz

EWD Project Engineer

Heather joined NCDMM/America Makes as an Education and Workforce Development Project Engineer in 2024. Within her role, she supports the organization’s EWD team by amplifying its additive manufacturing workforce through awareness, engagement, and education.

Heather’s background includes more than a decade of experience leading teams in vocational rehabilitation and training across education and manufacturing. She lends a wealth of knowledge in behavior management and instructional programming evaluation.

Before joining NCDMM, Heather successfully led an innovative youth behavioral rehabilitation program at the Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center. Within this role, she evaluated learning environments and instructional programs to make necessary changes for individuals with mental and behavioral health challenges.

Heather earned a Master and Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Sciences from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a master-level certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis Sciences.
