Roadmaps tell you where you need to go to get where you’re going. However, they are predicated on what the end target is. Skuld’s focus is on developing the most efficient metal manufacturing processes possible. Within additive manufacturing (AM), we are focused on solving the key problems that limit adoption: namely cost and qualification.

Skuld is developing and commercializing a new hybrid process called AMEC which merges polymer 3D printing with lost foam investment casting. This webinar, facilitated by Sarah Jordan, CEO of Skuld, LLC, will discuss what is known about the process. She will review a case study part which was 1030 steel, sold for $4/lb., weighed 85 pounds, and was produced net shape in less than a day making AMEC among the highest demonstrated production rate AM processes.  The discussion will focus on the roadmap showing where the technology is going.
