Throughput Consulting, Inc. Hires Coleman as Cyber Security Officer
Delafield, WI – February 24, 2021 – Throughput Consulting Inc., a leading Manufacturing Execution and Quality Management System software provider, hires Joe Coleman as its new Cyber Security Officer to assist customers and their vendors in achieving compliance of NIST 800-171, CMMC and DFARS.
Joe Coleman brings with him over 35 years of diverse experience in production, quality management, and most recently, as Lead Manufacturing Engineer at GE Aviation and its Additive Technology Center (ATC) where he trained Aerospace designers and engineers from the individual Part design stage, to prototyping and eventually full production of their AM projects.
In that role, Coleman played an integral part on the ATC setup, configuration and implementation team for Bluestreak’s Additive Manufacturing software, Bright AM™. He was also responsible for training, mentoring and managing over 130 Bright AM™ system users while maintaining over 6,000 active production Work Orders, many of which included outside vendor processing services, such as heat treating and surface finishing.

Along with training and mentoring new customers, Joe is working with our Bluestreak™ team towards achieving DFARS, CMMC, and NIST 800-171 compliance and certification. The DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requires compliance with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) SP (special publication) 800-171 security controls, and supports CMMC, which is the U.S. Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification for supply chain participation in DoD contracts.
