Emily Young

EWD Project Engineer

Emily Young joined NCDMM in 2021 as an Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Coordinator and was promoted in 2024 to an EWD Project Engineer. As a project engineer, she will be responsible for furthering initiatives that advance the additive manufacturing workforce through awareness, education, and engagement. Prior to joining NCDMM, Emily served as the Early Childhood and Youth Director at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, managing operations, enrollment, business development, and more.

Emily is a proud graduate of Youngstown State University and holds a bachelor’s in business administration. As a student she was nominated as a “Who’s Who Among Students at American Universities”, as well as awarded a certificate of excellence in leadership at the Williamson College of Business Administration. She has a love for the Youngstown community and providing opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to learn.
