Virtual Game Day Series Event: The Future of Additive Manufacturing
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
The Future of Additive Manufacturing
Today’s AM industry looks considerably different compared to 10 years ago. Startup companies are pioneering new business models. Software and hardware tools and new materials are available that were little more than ideas years ago. Exciting applications, especially for series and custom-product manufacturing, have emerged across many industrial sectors. Government agencies around the world have stepped up support for R&D and technology transfer. Education and training have advanced in secondary and post-secondary schools and for updating the current workforce. With so much progress in recent years, many speculate what the next 10 years might bring.
Carefully selected experts with deep and wide-ranging experiences will share their perspectives of the future. These thought leaders will help shape new ideas, views, and strategies for your organizations, large and small. Join them at one or more of the many informal roundtable discussions after the 90-minute panel session. The roundtables will cover many topics on the future of AM, such as advanced systems and materials, design and simulation tools, post-process automation, new business models, investment, and education and training. We look forward to seeing you on September 10.
This event will be held on the Remo virtual event platform.
