Technological Innovations in Metals Engineering (TIME 2020) – PostPoned
June 2 - June 4
Technological Innovations in Metals Engineering (TIME 2020) is an event designed to foster mutual engagement between suppliers and consumers of metal technologies. First offered in 2018, this second installment of the meeting seeks to provide vision for the research and development efforts of the technological metals community.
Who Will Benefit
TIME 2020 welcomes participants engaged in applied research, technology development, and technology transition and implementation in metals engineering, with an emphasis on innovations relevant to the metals industry. The event will cover the following topics:
- Additive manufacturing
- Metals processing through shaping, forming, and solidification
- Alloys and critical materials
- Industry 4.0 in Metals Engineering: Robotics, IoT, AI/ML, and Automation
Within these topic areas, the organizing committee is seeking presentations that encompass the full range of metals innovations and technologies including: metals processing, characterization, in situ monitoring, alloy and temper development, non-destructive evaluation, process planning, and modeling and simulation.
