Special Issue Focus on Additive Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing (AM) is a nascent and rapidly evolving technology of significant commercial importance. For this reason, ASM International’s Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance (JMEP) will publish a special issue of JMEP in the Summer of 2021 focusing on AM. This special focus issue is designed to explore the complex relationship between processing, microstructure, properties, and performance of AM materials. The unique aspects of modeling, standards, and AM data management will also be covered.
The AM community is invited to submit manuscripts for review and potential publication in this special issue. The journal publishes only original research of high technical value. Submitted manuscripts will be subject to the journal’s normal rigorous peer review process and must be accepted by the reviewers and editors to be included in this special issue. A renowned cadre of Guest Editors having significant expertise and experience in AM have been enlisted to expedite the review process.

Potential authors are highly encouraged to submit an abstract to Dr. William Frazier for consideration and comment prior to preparation of a full manuscript.
